I’m ashamed that this is the current state of our generation. Yes, beggars CAN be a nuisance, but I’m disgusted by the mindset of these people. They’re worse than vagrants, and they are ignoramuses. It’s not about being lazy; it’s about being unfortunate enough not to have the privilege of being born in a more financially capable family. It’s about being made to do these things; it’s about not knowing better. These are KIDS. If adults have a difficult time moving up the ladder, then don’t you think it would be even worse for these kids? If you think it’s so easy to simply get a job and earn, then here’s a comparison: would it be easy for YOU to step up the ladder and wake up one day as rich as Bill Gates? May I remind you, mister Pascual and friends, that to a large number of people out there YOU guys are next to dirt? You may think you’re so high up and deserving, but you’re not. As a sarcastic friend of mine said, you can’t even afford to get dropped off by manong driver to a more secure BPI Branch.
This person is butthurt because a kid didn’t thank him for some ice cream. I guess that’s just how ‘selfless’ he is. He needs the recognition for a ‘good deed’.
To sum it up, here is this person’s solution to our country’s vagrancy problem: bad mouth them, threaten them with violence, then post a bourgeois status about it on Facebook.
I bet that will get us somewhere.
You put your school and your parents to shame. I’ve met many more polite street children than you.
